A long Victorian Oak and Cast Iron Ships Table.  It features a long solid oak top of a rich, warm colour with slightly rounded corners and an apron.  Designed for stability at sea,, the top is supported by two substantial cast iron pedestal bases featuring cast decoration on the columns and crouching lion feet.  

Originally intended for use aboard ships,  today it would make a fantastic dining table, library table or striking console. The beautiful contrast between the wooden top and sculptural cast iron bases means it sits perfectly in both a traditional or industrial-style interiors, offering practicality and beauty.

In good, original condition with expected signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
