A tall Victorian Architectural Carved Wooden Column.  The square stepped pedestal base having hand painted panels on all four sides with flanking columns and an iron handle on two sides for ease of carrying. 
The base supports two sections of column each with fluted sides, carved floral and foliate decoration and ornamental iron banding with bracket like detailing.
Retaining its original paint finish and showing visible signs of wear etc. consistent with age and use, but in a solid condition.
A great statement piece for a period inspired home or used as a feature in a gallery or as a film prop.
