A pair of Oil on Boards Signed R. Palnay. C. 1880.  R. Palnay was a european artist known for his genre oil paintings, often featuring gypsies or peasants in domestic rural scenes.
They are well executed, with strong colours and mounted in their original large carved gilt frames with each painting signed by the artist.
In overall good condition, with some minor damage to the frames.
