A George III Mahogany Secretaire Bookcase.  Having a moulded cornice above a pair of glazed doors with decorative mouldings meeting with a molded brass trim.  Each door having a good working lock with key.  The doors enclose the bookcase section that has adjustable shelving.
The Secretaire drawer offers an arrangement of pigeon holes, shelves and drawers that conceal 2 hidden compartments. It also has a leather writing surface and a working lock with key.  Below this are a pair of flame mahogany doors (also with working lock and key) open to reveal to slide out shelves. 
The piece stands on sturdy bracket feet.
In good original with some minor historic restoration and a slight crack to one small individual pane.
In 2 sections for ease of movement.
