An Early 19th C. Oak Straight Back Settle.  The straight back features 6 decorative carved panels. while the base has three.  The plain seat has two lift up lids with iron hinges that open to reveal storage space.
In a solid original condition with age - related signs of wear and use.
This lovely country piece of furniture is perfect for a country style entrance hall, kitchen or at the top of the stairs on a landing.
