An early 19th C. Cardiganshire Welsh Oak Dresser, C.1840.  The plate rack has a moulded cornice top with hanging hooks above three shelves and with hanging hooks to the top shelf.
The base has five drawers with an under shelf and stands on bracket feet with turned supports to the front.
It comes in two sections for ease of transportation and movement.
In a solid condition with age related wear and tear, with three of the drawer knobs being damaged, wear to the back legs and signs of ancient woodworm which has been well treated.
