These wonderful Antique Victorian Oak Ship's Swivel Chairs would have originally been secured to the floorboards on board a vessel to prevent movement at sea.  They have a sturdy Oak frame, a decorative cast iron swivel base and faux leather upholstery that replaced the original fabric during the 1950's.

Used individually, one of these make for an unusual and striking desk chair. If purchased as a larger set, they provide a unique dining room arrangement

They remain in a good sturdy condition with signs of wear to original paint finish in places.
