An antique Early 19th C. Pine Serving Table of a great length.  This wonderful piece of furniture has 4 drawers of varying sizes with iron cup handles, the second drawer from the left also has an iron loop and plate which in a previous life had a padlock.  The base stands on 6 legs, the ones on the end having stretchers for added support. It retains its original paint finish which has beautifully crackled and bubbled over the years.
The top has been replaced with a thick, reclaimed pine top.
 
Originally used as a Serving Table in a large country house, it has been used for various purposes over the decades - including as a workbench, accounting for the paint splashes on the base.  It is truly a unique piece full of history and character.
 
It is in a very sturdy condition, it would make an incredible kitchen island or centre table in a large country style kitchen.
