A charming 19th C. Terracotta Faux Bois Planter.  The base was crafted to imitate an intertwined tree trunk and roots, it is very detailed and nicely weathered and even has some ivy still attached.

The planter contrasts nicely with the base and has a bark like appearance.

Faux Bois (French for "false wood" is a technique that simulates wood grain using other materials to give a naturally formed, rustic style.

This piece is in good used condition and could be placed in a garden, on a patio or in a conservatory.
