A 19th C. Oil on Canvas of a Seascape.  This well executed and detailed oil on canvas depicts a large sailing ship centre right and a smaller sailboat on the left.  In the distance the masts of other ships can be seen and also a castle on the headland.  Indistinct signature on the bottom right of the canvas.  Mounted in its original decorative gilt frame.
The back has an impressed mark for Polak Brothers, Russell Street, Bloomsbury, London.  The Polak Brothers traded as carvers and gilders at the Russell Street address from 1875.
