A large 19th C. French Earthenware Salt Glazed Olive Jar.  These large Olive Jars are great decorative pieces, and because they were traditionally handcrafted, each one is unique.
This particular one still has part of the original cork at the base.  In original condition with nibbles around the base as would be expected from age and use.
