A 19th C. Elm Smokers Bow Armchair.  This lovely piece of country furniture has some military history attached to it, on the underside of the seat is writing the shows that it was sent to RAF Maydown, a significant airfield near Derry, Northern Ireland which was primarily active during World War II. The wording "For (Direct Delivery)" indicates that it was shipped directly to the base rather than through standard supply depots, possibly for special allocation.
 It is in good original condition with wear etc. appropriate with age and use.
