A 19th C. Copper 4 Gallon Pitcher Jug.  Stamped "Churton & Co, 8 Drury Lane" on the front with the weights and measures stamp on the inside of the lip of the jug and 4 Gallon on the underside of the lip.
Churton and Co were merchants of wines, spirits and whiskey and this measuring jug was used at the premises on Drury Lane.
In original condition with ancient repairs which add to the charm of this decorative piece.
