A 19th C. Copper 4 Gallon Pitcher Jug.  Stamped 4 Gallon and "Churton & Co, 8 Drury Lane" and with the weights and measures stamp on the inside of the lip of the jug.
Churton and Co were merchants of wines, spirits and whiskey and this measuring jug was used at the premises on Drury Lane.
In original condition with ancient repairs which add to the charm of this decorative piece.
