A beautiful late 18th C. Oak Shropshire Dresser.  The plate rack has 3 tiers of shelving below the scalloped frieze and a small cupboard on each side, both with a working lock and key.

The base has 3 drawers with brass handles and escutcheons, a scalloped apron and stands on cabriole legs with front splayed feet.

This style of dresser originating from the county of Shropshire.

In a nice condition, with signs of wear and some historic repair conducive with age and use.
