A large Victorian wood and plaster statue of Saint Ignatius of Loyola who was a Spanish priest and theologian who founded the Jesuit order in 1534.

There is obvious wear and tear to the statue and he is missing his nimbus which would have been attached at the back of his neck but he stands well and is sturdy.

A nice decorative and unusual piece and he would look great displayed in an entrance hall.

Height 140 cm
