An Arts and Crafts Folding Gypsy or Travellers Table.  An early example of "flat pack" furniture, this table was designed to be easily dismantled by unscrewing the wing nuts that connect the top to the legs and supporting lower shelf, enabling it to be stored and transported easily.  
With colourful painted decoration to the inside of the legs and around the edge of the top.
In original condition with obvious signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
