An early 19th C. Painted Oak Dough Bin Table, with the front having a decorative heraldic design of fleur-de-lis on a shield.
The top lifts off to reveal the dough bin which has two sections. The dough bin then slides out of the base showing three deep storage compartments beneath. The whole piece stands in a later added painted plinth which can easily be removed if a lower height is required.
A great piece for a country style kitchen, providing plenty of storage space beneath the top.
In solid condition with obvious signs of wear and tear from years of use and historic repairs such as the tin patches thus providing character and showing the history of the piece.
